The Lakeside Getaway is a privately owned and operated Lodge Getaway. We strive to Provide our customers a clean and quiet environment for your family, friends, church outing, family re-union or other gathering. We hope you will consider us for your next getaway. What separates us from others is how much we appreciate peace, quiet and a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
THREE OF THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ARE:
1. Our alcohol policy….. Enjoy your favorite beverage if you choose, but we ask that You drink responsibly, no public drunkenness or loud profanity permitted.
2. “Can we have other family or friends visit, and/or spend the day with us?”
WE’RE SORRY, BUT THE ANSWER IS NO….We ask that you make room reservations to accommodate all your family and friends as only the overnight Guests are allowed on property.
3. Are pets allowed?
Sorry, no pets allowed.
GENERAL POLICIES:
« Overnight guests only, No Visitors allowed
« No Public Fishing. Fishing for overnight guests only.
« Please do not take towels, furniture, kitchen items out of room. Remember to bring your own towels for swimming/fishing. And bring your own Bar-B-Q utensils. Each room has its’ own inventory of towels, supplies.
« No Pets, No Checks
« Office closes at 8:00pm
« Check in Hours: 3:00pm---8:00pm
« Check out by 11:00 am
« Phone Reservations between 9:00am and 5:00pm
« Valid Credit Card Required for reservations & Deposit
« Closed on Thursdays, unless you have an advanced reservation.
« QUIET HOURS DUSK TILL 8:00AM
« Bar-B-Q Grilling in designated areas only. No Campfires
« No Fireworks {July 4th week is only exception)
« Any unforeseen situations will be resolved at owners’ discretion.
« We assume no Responsibility for loss by fire, theft, accident or storms.
« No Life Guard on Duty. Use of facilities is at your own risk.
CANCELLATION POLICIES:
« You must cancel 3 days prior to your stay. If you cancel after the 3-day notice FOR ANY REASON, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY NIGHTS THAT WE COULD NOT RENT FOR YOU. We cannot be responsible for the weather, medical emergencies, or other unforeseen events. We don’t charge extra for sunshine, but no refunds for rain or shortened stays!!
« If reserving more than 1 room, you must cancel 1 week prior to your reservation to avoid being charged.
« There is a minimum 3-day stay required for the following Holiday Weeks: Memorial Day, July 4 & Labor Day. One week cancellation notice required for Holiday Reservations, 2 weeks notice for 2 or more rooms.
